GreenZone Hero and Four Pillars Collaborate for Veterans
30 Days of Honor & Gratitude, the Science of Kundalini Yoga, and Helping Heroes Heal
Sarasota, FL – Two Florida companies have collaborated on various projects to honor veterans. Four Pillars a wellness retreat center, and GreenZone Hero, an online community recognizing veteran-friendly businesses, have created various workshops, campaigns and events to honor veterans.
Their combined efforts have created a Gratitude Campaign, a PTSD workshop on 9/11 and a wellness event for Veterans Day. Founders Cheri Christiansen of Four Pillars and John Krotec of GreenZone Hero are on a mission to make a difference to the total population of 525,000 Veterans in Central and Southwest Florida, and the total population of Veterans in Florida of 1,640,900. This is the third largest population of veterans in the nation.
The 30 Days of Honor & Gratitude for Veterans Campaign, September 2016 showcases various GreenZone Heroes and the discounts or offers they provide for veterans. During the month of September, or all year long in some cases, veterans are honored with discounts such as 20% off wellness services (from Four Pillars), $500 rebates on new vehicle purchases, 10-20% off food purchases, car repairs, air conditioning repairs and even motorcycles. This is just a sampling of the type of offers GreenZone Heroes promote to veterans nationally as gratitude for their service to our country.
A special 9/11 event was created to educate veterans and the community on the benefits of Kundalina Yoga for PTSD. Karisa Judith who holds a degree in Psychology as well as certifications from India and Costa Rica for Kundalini Yoga Mastery is being brought from New York City for the event and will lead a Kundalini workshop to help alleviate and release PTSD symptoms and root causes with the science of kundalini yoga, breathwork, and meditation. The event will take place at Four Pillars, Lakewood Ranch Sunday, 9/11 from 3-5pm.
In addition, Four Pillars and GreenZone Hero are working with Chinese Medical Solutions, of Sarasota, FL, to have a wellness day for Veterans Day, “Helping Heroes Heal”. The event will showcase and educate veterans and the community about wellness services including acupuncture, massage, reiki energy healing treatments, life coaching, and cupping. This event will take place at Four Pillars, Lakewood Ranch Saturday, November 5 from 11am -2pm.
