Greeting Campers: Saugerties/Woodstock KOA is an award winning family run campground in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Conveniently located only 2.5 miles from the N.Y... State Thruway on Route 212. The campground is divided up into 100 wooded sites for use by campers in motor homes, trailers, fifth wheels and tents. Our sites are level and divided between back-in and pull-thrus. We have sites to accommodate the smallest tent to the largest big rig. We also have 13 KOA Camping Cabins and 3 Camping Lodges spread out through the many Pine and Maple trees. Our meeting barn gives the ability to have a clean dry meeting room for campground activities and for the use of groups and rallies. The Saugerties/Woodstock area offers the ability to just come and relax around a campfire or to take in the local sites. Visit the quaint village of Woodstock with its cute shops or go antiquing in the Village of Saugerties. Just a short distance from the Campground are some of the most beautiful hiking trails in the United States. Beware of Campground Review Sites NOTICE Saugerties/Woodstock KOA is a family park, therefore we have very strict rules about quiet time and late night parties. games like Beer Pong in the park. make your reservations. We also have a midnight curfew on Campfires in the park. No tent set up after 10 PM. Because of our strict drinking and party policy we get under the skin of a few campers. Some of these campers have chosen to trash our park on the Campground Review Blog sites. Much of what they write is true but only to them because they refuse to follow the rules. The blog sites give people with an axe to grind a place to try and hurt us. We cant even offer a response.  They wrote about the nasty owner but only after we asked them to leave the park for not following the rules. Another example is a customer wrote about Gail not being very nice to her children wanting to play miniature golf. Her children were hanging out in the office all weekend and creating problems for the office staff. Then wanted to play golf long after check-out time. We may not have been very friendly to them. We offer miniature golf as a free activity. It shouldn't be a burden to the staff.
